Nico Izambard

 
 

Born in Saint Jean D’Angely; France, on February 3rd 1981, Nico was first introduced to the Magical World of Theatre when he first took an improvisation workshop and joined the Los Locos Improvisation team in Poitiers in 2000. He then moved on to acting with the Carte a Jouer Troupe and, after moving to the USA in 2003, he studied Acting and Directing at Portland State University where he graduated with an M.A. in Theatre Arts in 2007. Since then, Nico had been teaching and directing plays with children.

Directing Credits include Springtime (PSU), Medea (TASO), The Saga of Ginny, The Night of the Living Debutante (ToyBoat Productions), The Rope (PSU), James and the Giant Peach (Multnomah Arts Center) and Greek Adventures (MAC). Acting credits include “Verses the Poet” in A Lovely Day (Upon These Boards),”Zuniga/ Garcia” in La Tragedie de Carmen (Astoria Festival of Music), “Captain Mike” in Wonders of the World (Integrity Productions) and “Eilert Lovborg” in Hedda Gabler.
