Andy Brown has been performing in various musical groups and projects for over 15 years. First known for his keyboard and production work with 90's space-rock band Jessamine (Kranky records).  As a current member of Paint and Copter, Andy holds down the set by simultaneously playing drums, keyboards and singing.  In addition to performing live, he has lent his production expertise to many Northwest U.S. groups such as Magnog, Swoon 23, Bering Sea, Growing, Nudge, Jackie-o Motherfucker, Moodring and Rollerball.  Andy co-curates a monthly audio/visual evening at Portland's Someday Lounge called Hexasion.  He has also collaborated on video installations at the Portland Art Center, and with theater groups Defunkt Theater and Hand2Mouth Theater.
